Carbrook Golf Club might just be the only shark-infested golf course in the world.

There are between six and twelve bull sharks living in its lake, some over nine feet long. It’s thought the bull sharks found their new home after a nearby river flooded during the 1990’s, sweeping the deadly predators into the club’s lake.

Over the next few years, people reported seeing fins in the water… and in the 2000’s the deadly predators were finally caught on camera.

Since then they’ve gone from strength to strength and are sharks are now breeding. The resident sharks have never harmed the golfers at this club, and the man-eating residents of this lake don’t seem to be off-putting for keen golfers.
