ABOUT NICOLAS BAZAN WINES

The early success of Nicolas Bazan Wines is not surprising when you consider the remarkable wine-maker Dr. Nicolas Bazan and his partnership with the pioneering Wahle Vineyard.  Carefully crafted, the four Nicolas Bazan Wines stand alone, complement different dishes and encompass remarkable taste qualities of superior burgundy.

The premier collection of wines exhibit a range of satisfying styles reflecting the finest Pinot Noir grown in America’s top producing locale: the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Wahle Vineyard features some of the oldest vines in the Willamette Valley. They were among the first to recognize the area’s potential to produce exceptional Pinot Noir, the notoriously thin-skinned and difficult to raise grapes.

Nicolas Bazan Wines are the culmination of Dr. Nicolas Bazan's life experiences: research, travel and a keen appreciation for memorable flavors.  An internationally recognized neuroscientist, Dr. Nicolas Bazan is the Director of the LSUHSC Neuroscience Center of Excellence. Beyond his passion for innovation in medicine, Dr. Bazan is a noted gastronome. “My fondness for wines stems from my Argentine heritage.  This passion, along with my friendship with the Wahle family, has helped me to realize this dream to create beautiful Pinot Noir"
