The sold-out event welcomed over 200 members of the Southern California yoga express gratitude to “Mother India” for the gift of yoga. “We are truly overjoyed by the tremendous turnout at this year’s event, and the incredible and positive comments from attendees, sponsors and event participants.”
A welcome cocktail reception with appetizer wraps donated by Kye’s, which allowed guests to mingle and bid on the various silent auction items was followed by a performance by the Odissi dancers and a delicious Indian fusion dinner for the evening prepared by super talented chef and YGB Ambassador Aparna Sherman of Organic Soup Kitchen of Santa Barbara. Desserts donated again this year by Copenhagen Pastry.
After dinner, the Namaste Award ceremony honoring Mallika Chopra took place, a short YGB FILM was presented, along with a live auction and raffle. Each event attendee received a generous gift bag from the event sponsors.
